Marty Balin
Founder of Jefferson Airplane, current lead singer for Jefferson Starship and "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" Inductee.
While touring the world, Balin managed to capture on canvas many of the people he shared the stage with and idolized during his days with The Jefferson Airplane. For Balin, painting always was an act of self-enjoyment. His subjects were those he spent time with on the road, "the musicians he knew and enjoyed playing with".
